Our Story
Born from sawdust and passion in Kanyakumari, India

From a Garage to a World-Class Studio
Kumari Thachar was born in 1992, in a two-car garage with nothing but a table saw, a set of chisels, and an unrelenting passion for timber. Founded by a third-generation woodworker, the company set out to prove that handcrafted work could stand alongside - and surpass - mass manufacturing.
Today, our 5,000-square-foot workshop in Kanyakumari blends traditional hand-tool techniques with precision CNC machining. We've crafted pieces for residences, restaurants, galleries, and Fortune 500 boardrooms around the world.
But our mission remains unchanged: to honor the wood, respect the craft, and create pieces that become family heirlooms.
